ABOUT ME

Greg’s passion for music began at the age of 14, when along with friends at school, he took up playing the guitar. Initially horrified that the guitar would have to be tuned every time he picked it up, he stuck with it and has now been playing for 20 years, having been performing professionally since 2013.

 

Doing his first gig at age 16, music was all that he could foresee doing and this led him to graduate from The Academy of Contemporary Music with a degree in Contemporary Guitar in 2011.

 A passionate and experienced teacher of the guitar, Greg believes himself to always be a student of the instrument, to keep progressing and developing himself as a musician.

 

As a professional he has performed in Italy, Turkey, Malaysia, Croatia, and Dubai among others.

​

His influences have developed and changed as much as his ability, drawing early inspiration from hard rock, heavy metal and blues, and more recently to soul, jazz, electronica and fusion.

​

His journey with the guitar has led Greg to become more involved in composition, and a more diverse musician all round.
