What My Students Say
Greg has been teaching me electric blues guitar for over a year now and I both thoroughly enjoy the lessons and also gain much from them. He is a very precise and thoughtful teacher who listens carefully at all times to what I want to play and progress with. He tailors each lesson to my preferences and progression. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the theory behind guitar playing and is helping me particularly with my awareness of chord construction, scales, timing and both fret and picking hand technique. A first class teacher who is also a really nice guy.

After four years of being a self taught guitarist my playing had plateaued. I needed direction and guidance to take it forward. I was sceptical about the benefit of lessons - but how wrong could I have been ?
Working with Greg has been a revelation. Initially he took me back to some of the basics (in a constructive way) to correct those technique errors hampering my progress and I immediately saw some benefit. Since then we have worked through songs, rhythm, lead guitar and when I have wanted to we have delved into some theory to build on the practical work.
I cannot speak highly enough of Greg’s methods and attitudes in our weekly sessions. He is friendly and easy to talk to, his attitude is one of creating the right environment to learn at the pace (and in the direction) you want. There is never the feeling that you are under pressure to learn anything. Having problems ? Greg gets you through it with his patience and understanding.
On top of all this he is clearly a great guitarist in his own right. If you are thinking that lessons might help you - don’t hesitate - Greg has reinvigorated both my practice and playing and I have seen real results consistently.

I’ve had 6 lessons with Greg so far and I’m really pleased with the progress I’ve made. Every lesson is tailored to suit how I’m progressing and he keeps the lessons fun and interesting. I can’t recommend him enough.
Mike
Very friendly guy who really just loves guitar playing and focuses on what you want to get out of playing, whatever genre that may be!

Where do I start! As someone who has always loved music, and been a hardcore fan of bands such as whitesnake, Bon Jovi, ToTo and def leppard I’ve always wanted to learn how to play guitar. After never touching a guitar in my life I started looking for teachers and came across Greg. Since then I have never looked back. I never thought I’d be able to even pluck a string however I’m now able to play riffs and parts to songs I’ve always admired. I enjoy every lesson and look forward to many more in the future. Thank you So Much 🙌

Where to start?
An incredibly talented and supportive teacher who is very patient and determined to get you to succeed. They've been teaching me for nearly 2 months now from a complete begginer, and we are making gradual progress each week.
Despite a busy work life, they are very flexible with booking lessons each week, and their tailored teaching style makes for a natural and productive lesson every time.
Couldn't recommend enough! :D

I had been playing guitar on and off for years, and being able to look my mates in the eye and say that I could play, or pick up someone else’s guitar and be able to play impromptu, seemed out of my reach. But I can do these things now.
The difference between Greg and other teachers is that his teaching is structured and sequential, meaning that I build on what I’ve learned and understand what I’m playing and why I’m playing it - it’s a lot of fun and really rewarding. Greg is also relaxed and personable, and he’s always pushing me on.
